If you really can’t bear to drill your nursery walls, it can be bought with a more expensive floor stand which we had up and working in moments.
#Cubo ai plus uk 1080p
This gives a fantastic birds-eye view image in sharp 1080p HD so your baby won’t wriggle out of view and give you the fright of your life. The stream is beamed from an overhead camera fitted to the wall above the baby’s cot, without any dangerous cables to tempt little fingers. This smart monitor offers such a crystal-clear image of your little darling dozing, it’s the next best thing to lying in the cot next to them. Just be aware that some features are only free for the first year and require a paid subscription after that. We were also really impressed that you can set up “danger zones” and be alerted if your child crosses them – if they climb out of their cot for instance. We particularly liked how we could record video and take photos remotely to capture precious in-cot footage – and the fact the app automatically takes a handful of photos each night too. It also works with smart home devices like Google Home and Alexa and offers a useful sleep tracking service that is handy for sleep-deprived new parents struggling to remember their own name. This offers all sorts of features including night light operation, lullabies, temperature and humidity sensory, two-way audio and excellent covered face detection. There’s no parent unit but everything is beamed to an app on your smartphone instead.

The 1080p HD Sony wide angle lens and high sensitivity microphone give astonishingly clear audio and visual even at night, and it’s easy to see the whole cot mounted on either a wall or the more expensive floor stand. Yet it’s not a case of style over substance. Better still, it chirps sweetly to alert the parent to any problems too. We didn’t think it was possible to think a baby monitor was cute until we clapped eyes on this bird-shaped camera in pale wood and glossy white.
